What’s your favorite or most rewarding part of working for Nestlé Purina?

Working hard on a project and then getting to see the project run successfully at a plant. Management is very good about recognizing and thanking their employees for a job well done.

How has Nestlé Purina helped you grow professionally?

Nestlé Purina helped pay for my college degree. I started out with Nestlé Purina my senior year of high school as a work-study student--to an intern, to a permanent employee. My career has definitely grown. I am constantly being challenged, learning and growing.

If you knew then, what you know now, what's one piece of advice you would give to someone coming into the company?

I would encourage the person to get a mentor(s). There are lots of talented people who work at Nestlé Purina. Not only are they educated, but also experienced as he/she has been with the company for several years, sometimes decades!

What are your long-term career goals at Nestlé Purina?

I would like to lead and manage a team of people.

What are some perks at Nestlé Purina that you enjoy?

I enjoy the company appreciation day, team building events, and the flexibility they provide. They help provide a good balance between work and home life.

What is the most exciting thing you are involved in outside of work?

I would have to say, spending time with my family and close friends. My children are pure entertainment by themselves!

What’s your favorite place in St. Louis to relax and unwind?

A good spa

What’s one hidden skill or talent you have that would surprise your coworkers?

I can paint.

I have grown from a little high school kid to a mature woman, who has accomplished a lot of my personal and professional goals. I’m still growing and learning.
